Inside the playbook

A working framework, not a theory paper

Opportunity score surfaces dozens of recommendations across your accounts. This playbook gives you the logic to decide which ones move performance, and which ones just move the score.

Icon

The 5 Signals framework

Every Meta recommendation maps to one of five signals: Tracking & Data, Audience, Placement & Delivery, Creative, Account Health. The playbook explains what each signal moves, when to apply it, and when to ignore it.

Icon

The Decision Matrix

A 2×2 matrix plotting recommendations by Score Impact and Performance Impact. The single most-used page of the playbook, built to live on a second monitor while you optimize.

Icon

The 30-day workflow

A week-by-week walkthrough of how to audit your account portfolio, prioritize by lift, apply selectively, and verify in your performance data. Built around the RedTrack's integration with Meta Ads that puts both on one surface.

Who it's for

Built for performance teams running paid traffic on Meta technologies.

Affiliate media buyers

You're running across multiple accounts for compliance and isolation. The playbook covers how to read score recommendations against your EPC and CPA, and which signals matter most when account learning is your biggest constraint.

Image
Ecommerce & DTC brands

You're scaling spend across Meta Ads and watching the algorithm get noisier. The playbook shows how to read opportunity score in the context of revenue and ROAS, so the recommendations you apply move the numbers that matter, not the ones that just feel good.

Image
Agencies

You're managing Meta accounts for 10, 20, or 50 clients. The playbook shows how to prioritize by available lift across the entire portfolio in one session, so optimization stops being a per-client tab-switching exercise.

Most teams I talk to are doing two things in parallel. They're reading recommendations in the Meta Ads Manager. And they're checking their ROAS in their tracker. Two tabs. Two stories. They don't meet in the middle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to popular questions right here. Contact us if you have additional questions.

  • Is this co-published with Meta?

Yes. The playbook was written by RedTrack in collaboration with Meta as part of our Meta Business Partner relationship. Meta is co-distributing it through the Meta Business Partner channel alongside RedTrack's own channels.

  • Do I need a RedTrack account to use the playbook?

No. The 5 Signals framework, Decision Matrix, and 30-day workflow are usable with any tracking setup. The product screenshots on page 13 show how RedTrack surfaces opportunity score natively, which makes the workflow faster, but the framework itself is platform-agnostic.

  • How long is it?

14 pages, designed to be read in roughly 25 minutes. The Decision Matrix and 30-day workflow pages are built to be returned to as working references.

  • When was it last updated?

May 2026. Opportunity score is a system Meta is still actively developing, so the playbook will be updated as Meta ships material changes to how the score is calculated or surfaced.

  • What will RedTrack do with my email?

We'll send the PDF and an occasional related guide. We don't sell or share email addresses, and you can unsubscribe from any email we send.
