Mila Staneva: Hi there, I’m here with our amazing partner and a leading voice in the affiliate world, Jitendra Vaswani. Hi Jitendra, thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us. Can you introduce yourself to our audience, if there are people who still don’t know you, which I doubt?
Jitendra Vaswani: Hi everybody. Thank you so much, Mila. I really appreciate it. I think we’ve known each other for quite a long time, right? We have been friends, meeting at all those shows like Affiliate World, Sigma, everywhere. We have a great connection, and I’m also using RedTrack for my affiliate campaign. So I’m glad we are still connected and trying to help each other.
Hi guys! I’m Jitendra Vaswani, the founder of Affiliate Booster and BloggersIdeas, an internet marketing blog where I do interviews with all the affiliate and marketing experts like Neil Patel, Zac Johnson, and many other people on my podcast called Inside a Hustler’s Brain.
So you can check out my YouTube channel to see lots of video content and affiliate marketing interviews with experts. If you do, you’re going to learn so many things about affiliate marketing, how to make money online, Facebook ads, Shopify, everything. So, thank you so much for this amazing interview. Let’s start!
Mila Staneva: So you’ve been a driving force in affiliate marketing for years now, even before we met. How did your journey begin, and what keeps you passionate about the space today?
Jitendra Vaswani: I run this business because I enjoy the journey. You know, so many people are doing things they don’t love. If I ask you, do you love doing this up-close marketing stuff? You are into this industry because you love this job, right? So if you really enjoy the process, you’re ready to do that for your whole life.
As for me, I enjoy it and I have a great circle of friends, people around me with whom we help each other and make sure we are growing together. I’m blessed to be in this community and grateful for what I have in my life.
If you want to get into the affiliate marketing space, create your friend circle. You should have your own community where people are going to support you. You need these kinds of people in your life. No matter if you are making six-figures, seven-figures, or eight-figures, you should have a community that’s going to support you, who’s going to be there for you when you don’t feel good, when the times are very tough. So you need to make sure you’re surrounded by these kinds of friends in your life. It’s very, very important, I believe that.
Mila Staneva: I completely agree with you because work is always work, but in affiliate marketing, we do have a great community. We have amazing people. It’s super supportive. And I’ve never felt more like I belong somewhere than in this community. So it is super important.
Jitendra Vaswani: Same here! Because whenever we go to all these kinds of trade shows, we enjoy meeting people, right, Mila? We enjoy having conversations with all these friends around us.
I feel so good when connecting with all the people and trying to learn something new in the affiliate marketing space. So it’s always great to be a part of various trade shows where you meet amazing people and make great connections. It’s going to help you in the long run.
Mila Staneva: Absolutely, the connections you make at events cannot compare to anything else, it’s not like Telegram or email for sure.
Jitendra Vaswani: Yes! Emails? Not the same, for sure.

Mila Staneva: Looking back at your early days, was there a particular campaign, partnership, or decision that became a turning point for your career?
Jitendra Vaswani: I have been doing SEO and affiliate marketing for almost 10 years now. And the start of this journey was in 2014 when I left my job. I entered the affiliate marketing space full-time because I wanted to learn, I wanted to grow, and I wanted to see what kind of world it could open to me.
When I decided I wanted to leave my job, luckily, I had a few friends who were supporting me: “You can do it”. And I would say that 2015 was a turning point when I left my job. Just after that, I got an opportunity to be a brand ambassador for the international company, Payoneer. I think you might have heard of Payoneer, right? That opportunity was a turning point for me when I got to meet their team, and they hired me as a brand ambassador in India.
Then I started arranging trade shows for them in India, and I got an opportunity to speak in front of all those people. But back then, I was not a speaker, even more so, growing up, I was not a confident child, and I was very shy in college.
So when I got this opportunity, I was exposed to another world. And I was like: “Oh my God, this is something crazy, I’m talking to thousands of people in front of me!”. It was a great opportunity for me at that point in time when I had just left my job and needed something to initiate and grow my affiliate marketing empire.
Also, my business really shot up during the COVID times in 2021. It was another turning point in my life when I got two more business partners in my empire. At the time, we really made some good money in that space because we were promoting educational offers, VPNs, proxies, and similar kinds of offers, which were making us good money. And all we were doing was SEO and running multiple niche websites. So that’s the long story short.
Mila Staneva: I actually didn’t know this about you. I would have never guessed you were a shy kid because now you’re super confident!
Jitendra Vaswani: Yeah, because in college, in my school times, I was not so confident. I used to have a stammering problem. If you don’t understand this term, it’s someone who cannot speak very clearly. And still, I sometimes stutter on some words.
So, I had this problem when I was a kid, that’s why I wasn’t confident either in school or in college. I was very hesitant to speak to groups of people. But when I became an international speaker, I was like: “Oh my God, this is me!”. And my family was totally shocked at how I could do it and achieve this kind of success in my life.
And although I was not confident, because of the positive friend circle, I got the right energy. When your tribe gives you a positive vibe and inspiration, it gives you the kick in your life. Make sure you have that kind of tribe in your life! I’m luckily, I have these people, when everybody’s trying to help each other grow, stay healthy, be rich, be successful. It’s very, very important for everybody.

Mila Staneva: I love this. It’s so positive and wholesome, and I know you in person, so I know that you really mean it, which is even more important. Okay, let’s talk a little bit more about affiliate marketing in 2025 and beyond. How have you seen the affiliate marketing landscape change over the last five years?
Jitendra Vaswani: In the past five years, I’ve seen so many changes. And the rise of AI in the past two years has caused many changes in the affiliate marketing space.
For example, I’m doing a lot of SEO, I’m running multiple SEO niche websites. In 2024, Google launched all these crazy core updates, and affiliate marketing SEO took a bad hit. We lost so much money on that. With all those updates in one year, when Google was hampering affiliate niche websites, we lost so much traffic and revenue due to all those AI changes.
If you search on Google right now, on the top, you might see an AI overview box. And this AI box is stealing the traffic from niche websites since Google is showing the answers on top with all its AI overview.
So, after all these updates, my partner and I decided to go heavily into paid ads. We began doing Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, and some kind of native ads. We started investing in all these resources because Google Ads are not going anywhere, right? People will search on Google if they want to buy any kind of product. So we started investing in Google Ads, and that is giving us almost like 70-80% ROI on our ad spend right now after all these updates.
With all this AI automation happening right now, we have automated our content process with tools like ChatGPT, GrokAI, n8n, and make sure you start using all these kinds of AI tools in your business. It’s going to automate all those workflows.
If you want to automate your workflows, start using n8n, an amazing tool that can help you automate your content processes, image processes, and video editing processes. Everything can be automated with this amazing tool. My team members can create 1,000 pieces of content in one day, and these content pieces go live on all of our niche websites with the help of this automation, with the help of AI right now.
I will say that with these trends in affiliate marketing and changes happening in the space, start implementing AI into your business. It’s very, very important right now. If you don’t use AI, you’re going to lose a lot of money and spend countless hours on employees who are not giving you ROI. I think you can automate 60 to 70% of your affiliate marketing tasks, including creating images, creatives, videos, content, ad copy, anything you want. You can automate 80% of your tasks with AI, it’s amazing. It’s so useful for your business right now.
Mila Staneva: Absolutely. We’re also using AI in Red Track. We have an AI assistant that’s very helpful when you want reports and see them more intuitively. I know it sounds like a paradox, but you can just go and ask: “Show me the best reports for the past week on Facebook” instead of going to tables and choosing dates, and so on.
Jitendra Vaswani: Yeah, it’s so much easier. If you use GrokAI or ChatGPT, you can automate your research process. So, that’s what I’m telling: learn how to use workflows. There are so many videos on YouTube where you can easily learn how to create all these workflows for your business. You will be amazed at how much work you can automate.
One of my good friends, Ali, is in affiliate marketing too. He has automated all his workflows, and I’m learning from him because we are sharing knowledge and resources. He’s a genius! Ali told me to automate all content processes with AI. So that’s what we’re doing with our workflows and everything else right now.
This kind of automation happening is a game changer for us because Ali has fired, think, 50-60% of his workforce right now. And he has automated all his processes with AI.
It’s crazy! Now I don’t need a team of a hundred people to do SEO, editing, and creating content. I just need one or two people who can create 1000 pieces of content for me and my niche websites. It has become so easy right now with AI tools.
Mila Staneva: Yeah, but exactly, you still need the person to put in the right prompt.
Jitendra Vaswani: Right, but now we don’t need a team of 10-20 content writers. We just need one or two who can put the prompts in the AI tools and then cross-check the content with Grammarly Pro or Copyscape. We have tools to check that the content is not 100% AI.
We also make sure that the content is understandable and user-friendly. If someone comes to our landing page, the content is easily readable and helpful for the reader. We focus on that kind of criterion. And we have made all those SOPs for our team members to apply when creating content pieces.

Mila Staneva: Yes. So, other than AI, since you’re known for your SEO expertise, how do you stay ahead with all the search engine algorithms changing so often?
Jitendra Vaswani: To be very honest on this, a lot is happening in the SEO world. Many changes are being forced by Google right now with all the AI updates.
Google is focusing on higher user intent. Once the user lands on your landing page, it wants to see how long they stick around. If that person is bouncing back very fast from your landing page or website, it gives Google a negative signal that this content is not helpful for readers. And once you give that kind of red flag to Google, your website will not rank highly. Google will push down your rankings.
So, make sure whenever you’re creating content, it should solve the user’s intent. Try to give the answer above the fold. If you are creating articles like reviews, versus, comparisons, or any kind of content pieces, try to give a short answer at the top for the user to see. It should be above the fold and instantly available for that person, so once they land, they get the answer to the query they’re searching for.
If you’re not able to help your readers, Google is going to demote your rankings. You’re going to lose the traffic from Google. That’s what’s happening in the SEO space.
And, with all these AI SEO updates happening, make sure you don’t depend only on a single source of traffic like SEO. You should invest in Google Ads, Facebook, native ads, buy traffic, and get into media buying. It’s very, very important. That’s where I made the changes in 2024, I started diving into the media buying industry and buying traffic because SEO is not very stable right now, it keeps changing. Every day, Google is bringing so many changes to its algorithms.
So if you have SEO as a single source of income, it’s a very risky bet. Don’t depend only on SEO for traffic. You should have multiple sources of traffic, like Facebook, Google Ads, native, etc. Because relying only on SEO is a very risky bet for everybody, for sure.
Mila Staneva: Yeah, you’re always one Google update away from not having any traffic.
Jitendra Vaswani: Yes, you are just one update away! Google can ruin all your traffic, income, or whatever you are doing. You should have a multi-niche website and always be A/B testing.
Also, check what your competitors are doing: what kind of SEO they are doing, what kind of ads they are running. So use “spy tools” which are available on the market.
And make sure you are doing a thorough R&D, such as reverse engineering your competitors. Because that’s where you’re going to learn what kind of ads and what kind of SEO is working for them right now.
Mila Staneva: We kind of briefly mentioned tracking. How important is campaign tracking to your affiliate success? And what tools or KPIs do you personally rely on?
Jitendra Vaswani: For us, tracking is very important. For the technical things, my partners are the ones handling this, my job is to get the right offer for them. If I’m going to trade shows right now, I make sure I meet the top affiliate marketers there, I try to get the best knowledge from them, and get the best offers like what is working for them, so I bring them the offers.
For tracking, we use RedTrack right now, it’s a great tool for affiliate marketers. We use this tracking tool for tracking affiliate earnings from overall offers (right now we are promoting on AdWords and running offers for education, health, VPN, hosting, proxies, SaaS tools, AI tools). And we can track all that there and see all of our affiliate earnings.
Because we promote multiple offers, we don’t have time to open multiple dashboards. So for that, we use a tool, which can help you to track all your affiliate earnings in one dashboard, it’s very important.
Whenever you are running your campaign, make sure you have the right tracking tools to see where the traffic is coming from. This includes everything, like the devices or IP locations. Sometimes you will get fraudulent clicks, so you want to ban all those IPs. You should always keep an eye on such things, and using tracking tools is going to help you ensure your campaigns are getting you positive ROI.
Mila Staneva: Do you have a specific example when a tracking tool actually helped you with a campaign? For instance, optimize campaigns significantly, or maybe just determine some fraud? Any concrete recent examples?
Jitendra Vaswani: Yeah, we were promoting education offers on Facebook, and we were running it with RedTrack. And we were seeing that some clicks we were getting were fraud clicks from different IPs. So my team was making sure we ban all those IPs from getting fraudulent clicks because somebody was trying to do click hijacking on our ad. To ensure no one is doing that, we filter out all those IPs from which we get fraud clicks.
These are the basic protocols we always follow. We keep an eye on our campaign, where we get the maximum clicks and the maximum ROI. So make sure you follow such protocols. And once you get deeper into your campaign tracking with RedTrack, you’re gonna see so many things there.
So I’m not much into the technical side of those things, but I make sure I get my team the best offers because I’m the face of the company. I’m lucky to have such partners handling the operations for me very smoothly. It’s very important to have such people in your team to feel safe and secure, and you can sleep peacefully at night knowing you don’t have to worry that somebody is doing something bad. All my partners were my ex-employees whom I trained and asked if they wanted to be my partner: “You have my equity here, and let’s work together.” And we grow together. They handle the technical stuff for me, I do the marketing, go to conferences, meet people, make connections, write books, and all that.
I know my strengths and weaknesses. I want to use my strengths because that’s where you’re going to scale it up.
Mila Staneva: I agree, you cannot do everything, and that’s why it’s important to have the right people around you.
Jitendra Vaswani: Yeah, you cannot be a jack of all trades, right? Be a master of one skill set and make sure you are the best at it.
Mila Staneva: Yes, that’s great advice! Do you have any other advice for affiliates who are just starting in the affiliate world right now?
Jitendra Vaswani: Some advice for those getting started in the affiliate world right now is to use free tools like ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or Gemini Pro. There are so many AI tools available, do thorough research on AI. Like what’s going on? What is working in this AI world right now? These tools are easily available for you for free, so use them and your time wisely.
Also, make sure you are going to trade shows to meet experts. You can get knowledge from them and ideas about what’s working in this industry, what’s working this year, and right now. Going to various workshops and trade shows gives so much knowledge, you meet amazing folks there, and you can learn so many things. So I would advise being a part of that. Invest your money in trade shows to get confidence.
So, get exposure to what is working in the affiliate marketing space and use AI as your friend because it can work for you 24 hours a day. It doesn’t get tired, right? Use AI, learn AI, and then implement the knowledge into your business.

Mila Staneva: Do you have any favorite trade shows that you recommend people to go to?
Jitendra Vaswani: Affiliate World conferences are the best shows right now, where you can meet amazing people and learn so many things from the experts who are there. When I attended in 2015 (I think they did their first trade show in Bangkok if I’m not wrong), I was a part of that trade show, and I was amazed when I met all the professional affiliate marketers who were making 100k a month.
For me, it was a dream! I was stunned at how they were making 100k a month with ClickBank, health offers, and other amazing things. I got to meet them, and I obtained great confidence in myself. Because I saw that if that person can do it, then I can also do it. You have to meet people and learn from them.
Trade shows have changed my life because I’ve made so many connections. I got so many clients from there for PR, marketing, my agency, everything. And I got business partners from shows only. It has always worked for me.
Make sure to attend trade shows and affiliate conferences. There are so many of them: MAC conferences, SiGMA conferences, and others. So, go out and learn from those people. If you don’t, you’re not going to learn insider secrets, meet VIP guests, go to VIP dinners, be a part of those things.
Mila Staneva: I know you also go to a lot of masterminds around there who are usually around the shows.
Jitendra Vaswani: It’s very important because once you get to that level, make sure you are a part of that to meet high-ticket masterminds and successful affiliate marketing people who are making nine-figure and ten-figure businesses. When you meet them, you learn so many great things and get hacks for your businesses. Once you make enough money, become a part of private masterminds, it’ll help you a lot.
Mila Staneva: What are some common mistakes you see affiliates make, especially when it comes to SEO and tracking? Can you give any SEO tips for affiliate marketing?
Jitendra Vaswani: When it comes to SEO for affiliate marketing, I would say they don’t choose the right niche. When they see some screenshots on Facebook or other social media channels, they get attracted. They don’t do the proper research and R&D.
They don’t do the reverse engineering to learn what is working. So, if you’re working in that niche, make sure that the niche is profitable and you have some interest in it. It’s very, very important.
When I started out, I had an interest in affiliate marketing, SEO, and all, because I was doing the job in affiliate marketing too. So that’s where my interest developed. Then, when I began to meet all those experts, my interest grew in the affiliate space. Choose that niche according to your own interests, so you can learn, adapt, and grow into that niche. So, make sure you follow that very wisely.

Mila Staneva: Again, very good advice on how to be successful at affiliate marketing! Let’s talk a bit about the growing affiliate marketing trends. Where do you see the affiliate industry heading in the next three to five years? What trends do you foresee in affiliate marketing?
Jitendra Vaswani: The future of affiliate marketing is very hard to predict, but I would say that it’s AI. AI is going to take over so many things, and so many people are going to lose their jobs because of it.
As I told you, automation is becoming an important part of every company out there right now. You can see big corporate companies firing a lot of employees from their workforce. Why? It’s because of AI automations happening. Now you don’t need a team of thousands, it could be a hundred people.
With AI, you can automate so many things in your business right now. So I think, in three to five years, we are going to see anyone who’s not learning AI, not adapting AI into their company, lose a lot of money. They’re going to lose their race, that’s for sure.
Mila Staneva: Are there any niches or platforms or new trends in affiliate marketing that you’re particularly excited about right now, other than AI? Because it’s getting, or it will get, more mainstream, but is there anything more trendy or niche?
Jitendra Vaswani: Talking about trendy niches, I would mention health. Health offers always work. People want to lose weight, they want to grow their hair. For instance, diabetes and similar niches are always friendly, they’re going to make you money.
You have to find the right offers. And once you find the right offers, invest in them and scale. I think the health niche is going to always be there, it’s going to work, and make you a lot of money.
And you have to find the right offer at that point. If you don’t choose the right offer, then you’re going to lose a lot of money.
Mila Staneva: Well, these were all the questions that we had time for today. Thank you, Jitendra, for joining us! Where can people reach you for more of your wisdom and advice?
